Toronto Police Implement “Well What Were You Wearing?” Strategy To Protect Healthcare Workers From Protestors

Toronto - In preparation for the incoming trucker protest this weekend, Toronto Police are advising hospital workers not to wear their scrubs to avoid being harassed, in a strategy they’re code-naming “Operation: But We’re You Asking For It?” Toronto police chief James Ramer says his force have found tremendous success in the past using this tactic, and if everyone just dresses appropriately there’ll be no issues. Ramer stated that if hospital workers wanted to avoid harassment, they should simply steer clear of dangerous places such as outside of their place of work. Hospital workers are reminded that although they may want to get a little fresh air during their 16 hour shift, if they get harassed they have no one to blame but themselves as police have made it very clear they plan to do nothing.
