Local Pylon Blocking Entire Lane Of Traffic Attains Heritage Status

Toronto - A local Pylon that has been blocking an entire lane of traffic for nearly 5 years has officially attained heritage status. "This is the first pylon in Toronto to receive this great privilege and I am honored to preside over this prestigious achievement," said Canada’s heritage minister, adding that this Pylon joins only 3 others, all based in Montreal, to receive heritage status. Local resident Henry Pickler remembers when the Pylon first blocked his commute 5 years ago. "I saw that damn cone blocking everyone. It was a mess! I don't know why it was there, I figured they'd patch up the street the next day but the dang old thing is still here standing prouder than ever". With the honour, the Pylon will forever be plastered onto the asphalt along with a commemorative plate with the year it was first installed: 2018, and reason, like all other heritage Pylons: unknown.
