Ottawa Police Begin Giving Out Warning Papers To Downtown Pigeons

Ottawa - As the removal of occupiers under the Emergencies Act has started to spread to the media, Ottawa has now made it very clear their intent to remove everything from the downtown core.

“We will stop at nothing to ensure everyone and everything is removed from our downtown,” said mayor Jim Watson, “Whether it be occupiers, the homeless, or urban nature. If you are downtown, we will remove you.”

Aside from pigeons and raccoons, Ottawa police have begun giving our written warning to residents, members of parliament and trash cans; either leave Parliament Hill or face the consequences.
