City Adds A Bunch Of Dynamite To Gardiner Overpass

Downtown - After Toronto’s busiest downtown highway went down to just two lanes due to construction, city council announced this morning they have loaded hundreds of sticks of dynamite along the underpass to help ease congestion.

Although Mayor Chow says there is no plan to actually detonate the explosives, the fact that they’re there will discourage drivers from using the highway and help ease congestion.

The dynamite is expected to stay until at least 2028.
