Value Village Shoppers Shocked To Find Used Loblaws Products On Shelves

Toronto - Several shoppers of a downtown Value Village are reporting a surprising find on their recent thrifting haul; shelves filled with many gently used President’s Choice products.

From boxed items to kind of fresh produce, shoppers of the Leslieville thrift store have reported sightings of mostly uneaten products from Loblaw’s house brand.

“I know food in this country has gotten out of control but I’m not sure I’m at the point where I need to buy second-hand pesto,” tweeted one shopper along with a picture of Black Label basil pesto with a few spoonfuls out of it marked at $3.99.

The Harold has reached out to Value Village for comment and to inquire about where the products came from but we’re told that we’ve already been warned before.
