Trudeau And Ford Settle Diffrences And Agree To Both Do Nothing
Queen’s Park - Premier Doug Ford met with Prime Minister Trudeau for the first time since 2018 to discuss Ontario’s healthcare crisis. Despite a tumultuous past the two have agreed to set aside their difference and come together in a joint effort of doing absolutely nothing.
“Folks, I told the Prime Minister something needs to be done. We can’t keep letting Ontarians live like this,” stated Ford, “And for the first time since I took office, Mr Trudeau completely agreed with me. Then we talked about the NHL for three hours before he left. It was the most productive conversation we’ve ever had.”
Though few details have been shared on the pairs meeting, those close to the premier report he suggested maybe passing some kind of legislature that would do something, to which the Prime Minister said that sounded like a pretty good idea.
The pair concluded their meeting with a brief press conference where they both stated that closing hospitals was “not a good look”.
A meeting between all premiers and the Prime Minister is set to take place later next month, where the group will briefly discuss ER closures across the country before beginning g their NBA fantasy draft.
