John Tory Proposes Building Very Large Gun On CN Tower To Better Protect City
By Scott Slute
Toronto - As part of his proposed $43.8 million police budget increase, Mayor Tory has suggested that the city replaces the CN Tower’s 360 Restaurant with a very large rifle that will keep the city streets safe.
Tory says the $42 million dollar project will add an extra sense of security, as residents can be assured they will be under constant watch from the benevolent police force.
The gun will be manned by a Toronto police officer 12 hours a day, who will be instructed to fire warning shots to any and all suspected wrong-doers.
Tory says the remaining $1.8 million will go towards hiring clean up crews to collect the oversized shells discharged from the rifle.
