Several TTC Shuttle Buses Will Be Replaced By Party Bikes This Weekend

Toronto - Multiple subway station closures and streetcar track repairs have resulted in the transit commission running out of shuttle buses, meaning many riders this weekend will need to use the TTC’s party bikes to commute.

The 12 seat vehicle is powered by the riders pedalling and will be steered by a properly licensed TTC driver. The party bike will transport riders along the stretch of Line 2, from Royal York station all the way to Castle Frank.

Regular subway service is expected to resume sometime in 2032.
