A Toronto Couple Just Got Married Inside The Queen And Spadina McDonalds

Toronto - After one Toronto couple exchanged their nuptials aboard a TTC streetcar last month, another local pairing has decided to tie the note inside another iconic Toronto location.

34 year old Anthony Brown and 32 year old Chloe Prontie made their union official at 160 Spadina Ave, home to Toronto’s most famous McDonald’s location. Although the couple says they didn’t meet at the McDonald’s, they did go there on their third date after seeing a show at the Horseshoe where Prontie drank 8 gin and tonics, who then proceeded to throw up half a junior chicken inside a second floor garbage receptical.

“The idea for this came from wanting to have a small, intimate ceremony that also had all the excitement of a big extravaganza,” Brown tells us of his 16 guest ceremony, “What other wedding can you actually take the time to speak to each guest and also watch a pantsless man overdose? It was truly a day we’ll both remember forever.”

The couple also shares how they were able to save money by having both the ceremony and reception at the McDonald’s location. “Although the location isn’t technically licensed, the staff didn’t seem to have a problem with us cracking a few Milwaukee Ices and pouring a mickey of vodka into our Fanta’s,” Prontie shared with us, “That and a few value meal burgers for everyone and we were able to keep our wedding under $100.”

The couple says that with the money they saved on the wedding they may actually be able to afford a honey money to a beautiful bed and breakfast in Barrie.
