Air Canada Introduces New “Vomit Free” Seating Class For Additional $50

Mississauga - Following last week’s incident where an Air Canada passenger was forced to sit on a vomit covered seat, the air line says they’ve taken steps to ensure that won’t happen again as long as flyers are willing pay. The airline has introduced a new seating tier called “Vomit Free”, that will guarantee passenger’s seats are fully wiped down and sanitized prior to boarding for an additional fee of just $50. Passengers can add this luxury feature ahead of time while purchasing their ticket. The airline will also notify flyers upon check-in if the inbound flight experienced particularly heavy turbulence and provide a “last minute cleaning fee” for an additional $125 via the Air Canada app. For those willing to chance it but find their seat is covered in hefty chunks, flight attendants will offer tarps for purchase once the plane reaches cruising altitude.
