Toronto Sends Dozens Of Raccoons To Assist With Nova Scotia Cleanup

Halifax - Following the devastation of Hurricane Fiona which tore throw the maritime provinces, the city of Toronto has pledged to send dozens of raccoons to the province to assist residents with cleanup.

Mayor Tory says that the raccoons will be able to help pick up small twigs and apples that are currently covering the ground, as their tiny hands and opposable thumbs allow them to carry small things.

The raccoons will be sent to the east coast through Via Rail, but will need to wait until October 1st as none of those being sent are vaccinated.
