Queens Park - The Ontario government is facing sever backlash after releasing their pandemic-era Thanksgiving guidelines.

The province has received criticism and comparisons to authoritative regimes like Communist China and Nazi Germany after recommending those hosting Thanksgiving gatherings open windows, provide hand sanitizer and soap, and wash high-touch areas.

“You will NOT tell me what I do in my own home!” shrieked one resident after reading guests who are currently sick with COVID should not attend.

“This is CANADA not North Korea! When will my other fellow citizens stand up and say no! I will NOT ask my guests to wash their hands before eating,” another man posted to Facebook.

After scrolling through Instagram comments on their guideline recommendations, the Ontario government is now preparing ICUs for the incoming fifth wave.
