COLDRONA: Is Toronto’s Extreme Cold Weather Warning Actually A New Hybrid Variant?

Science - As Toronto prepares for temperatures in the negative double digits, many are questioning if this new cold front could be the result of a brand new COVID variant.

“Just as Israel confirmed their first case of the hybrid Flurona, we are concerned we may start to see people in the city experiencing both the symptoms of COVID while also being very cold,” said the city’s medical officer.

With runny nose, shortness of breath and headaches all being shared symptoms of both COVID and being outside for more than 4 minutes this week, residents are being advised to just stay inside for the next five days until this weather passes.
