This Magical Christmas Village Is Just 5151.64 Km From Toronto And It’s The North Pole
By Gabriel Venneri
North Pole - Torontonians are getting into the holiday spirit by visiting the North Pole, and the best part is that it’s only 5151.64 km away! Just take the short plane, boat, and snowmobile ride to Ellesmere island, after that it’s just another quick ride on an icebreaker and then a trek on foot, and before you know it you’ll feel like you were transported into a Christmas movie. The only thing you’ll be wondering is why you didn’t make the trip sooner!
Starting December 1st, the normally icy and hostile terrain is transformed into a quaint little Christmas village. Take a sleigh ride (the final leg of the journey to reach the North Pole), enjoy the dazzling light displays (the North Pole is plunged into darkness for the entire winter), and warm yourself by the campfires (the average temperature is -25 c). You’ll even have a chance to meet Santa and all his reindeer and elves because you’re literally in the North Pole.
This wonderful Christmas day trip will only be around until December 26, then it magically disappears, so hurry before it’s too late
