BREAKING: Ontario Schools No Longer Free

Queen’s Park - After assuming the position of Education Minister nearly a month ago, Todd Smith announced this morning that the upcoming school year would no longer be free.

He stated during a press conference that students K-12 will be required to pay a tuition if they want to go to school, claiming the Ontario government has spent far too much money on education since 2018 and hasn’t even gotten a single thank you.

“Oh my god, we’re spending how much on public schools? No no, you guys are paying for this now,” Smith was heard shouting from his office last week after reviewing the 2023-24 school year invoice.

Smith said he would have made the announcement on Monday but was too busy fishing, and then decided yesterday to stay an extra day at the cabin.
