Ontario Hospitals Will Now Accept Optimum Points

Queen’s Park - As part of the latest overhaul to the provincial healthcare program, Premier Doug Ford says he has partnered with President’s Choice Optimum program to become the first and only loyalty points system in provincial healthcare.

Residents will be able to redeem their Optimum points to bypass long wait times. 100,000 points will get you to the front of the ER line, and for 500,000 Ontarians can pick out any new organ they want from a recent donor. All Optimum members can now also collect Optimum points from every visit or surgery received in the province.

Ford says he feels optimistic that this latest update to the healthcare system will distract residents of the province for at least six more months.
