City Buses Now Given Carte-Blanche To Ride Through Parks During Rush Hour

By Nikola Kramaric

Toronto - Starting Monday buses will be equipped with new off-road tires and suspension. The equipment will give the buses the ability to reach speeds of 60 km/hr in off-road conditions although the city will cap speeds through parks at 40 km/hr. The city is starting an aggressive marketing campaign next month to warn residents not too get too comfortable during after work strolls or while watching Shakespeare in the park as a bus might be coming their way.
