City Replaces ‘Drinking In Park’ Signs With Guy Who Loves To Explain By-Laws To You

Toronto - After backlash from residents and city councillors over the large signs outlining new rules regarding drinking in parks, the city has decided to remove the signs and replace them with dozens of men who will be more than happy to explain the rules to you. The men will be deployed to the entrances of all parks that allow drinking and will inform all visitors of the city’s new rules whether they want to hear them or not. Groups of these men will also be wandering through the parks to provide park-goers more information even if they aren’t drinking. Some men at the city’s busy parks will also stand just a little too close to groups enjoying the parks in case they have any questions regarding the rules around drinking or any random by-laws. Despite the pilot projecting ending in October, the men will be staying in the parks all year to answer any and all questions regarding municipal law.
