Dan O’Toole’s Missing Car Safely Located In His Garage
Peterborough - After taking to Instagram last week to post about his missing baby who Durham police confirmed was actually safely with the child’s mother the whole time, the TSN anchor again took to Instagram last night claiming his 2018 Toyota Camry was also taken, only to realize shortly after that it was still in his garage where he parked it earlier that evening.
Instead of going to the police like you would do if a crime was actually committed, O’Toole instead took to Instagram at 11:17 PM in a since deleted post. O’Toole wrote “Whoever has my car, I hope you are taking care of the leather seats and not accelerating too quickly. Also the oil probably needs to be changed soon if you don’t mind doing that.”
Harrison Maxwell, CityTV reporter and neighbour of O’Toole, took to Twitter to inform O’Toole he watched him park the car in his garage earlier that night and asked if he had checked there. O’Toole responded, in a now deleted Tweet, asking why the garage didn’t contact him about his missing car and said that Maxwell could never possibly understand what he was going through and what it was like to use your social media reach to create a fake tragedy.
It is unclear where O’Toole was coming back from when he parked his car, but it probably wasn’t the TSN studios in Scarborough as O’Toole has not been back on the air since the weird baby thing.
