Swoop Launches New Ultra Affordable Tickets That Don’t Include A Seat
Travel - Ready to fly from Toronto to Vancouver while only spending $39 and working your core the entire flight? The ultra-affordable airline is adding its cheapest tickets yet, and the only catch is you’ll have to stand for the entire flight.
Swoops new “sub-coach” ticket will feature all of the same things you’ve come to not expect from the airline, but now they’re also taking away the last thing you thought was necessary for air travel; a seat!
The airline said they realized that by having passengers stand, they could fit 5x the amount of passengers than they could if everyone was seated. So the company ripped out the chairs on nearly half of all planes to provide even more savings to their flyers.
Since launching the new program last week, the airline says passenger satisfaction is the highest it’s ever been in the company’s history. Plus, only three passengers have suffered serious head injuries from standing during takeoff!
Still want the luxury of getting to rest your legs but don’t want to be forced into sitting in the same cumbersome chair all flight? For an upgrade fee of just $30, Swoop will allow you to sit on the floor of the plane, and for an extra $50 you can even rest your back up against the wall.
Where are you going to travel next with these low costs?
