“Cross Country Canada” Reboot Announced
Gaming - Everyone’s favourite educational game from the 90’s is back, and this time it’s personal.
If you grew up in Canada in the 90’s, you probably remember your public school library computers being equipped with only Encyclopedia Brittanica and a confusing game where you had to drive a potash shipment across western Canada.
Now, the games developers have decided it’s time to educating Canada’s youth once again, this time taking a modern approach to appeal to young gamers using explosions, guns, and a battle royal feature.
While the original relied on players typing in directions to move the truck, the reboot franchise reboot will teach gamers how to deploy a multitude of weapons and unsafe driving techniques while exploring this great country from coast to coast. The goal of the game is to make your cross-Canada delivery on time, no matter the cost.
Cross Country Canada 2: Northern Fury will also implement RPG elements including customizable trucks and the ability to stop at Tim Horton’s at 3:45AM to make idle small chat with local tweakers.
The game is set to release this November, and is anticipated to be one of the hottest games for Canadians this Christmas. Pre-ordering now will give gamers access to a beta of the game, and will give players a bonus in-game hat for their player.
