Loblaws Teams Up With PayBright To Help Canadians Finance Their Chicken

By Scott Slute

Toronto - Canadians hoping to feed their family this year are in for exciting news, after the monopolized grocery chain announced their partnership with the financing platform PayBright to allow shoppers to go broke and starve in a few months instead of right now.

With chicken breast reaching a high of $27/kg at Loblaws stores, nearly triple the price it was just a few months ago, many shoppers say they’re having a hard time affording to put food on their plates. Now, Loblaws, No Frills, and Superstore shoppers will have the option to pay with debit, credit, or in bi-weekly instalments over the next six months by using PayBright, Canada's leading installment payment platform!

“We know how difficult it can be to afford groceries in one single transaction,” Galen Weston stated from his fourth home in Palm Beach, “Which is why at Loblaws we’re proud to offer our shoppers the option to pay for their groceries by locking into a low-interest payment plan over the next few months as your financial situation gets more and more uncertain, thanks to PayBright!”

The eligibility for instalment paying is simple. Any purchase over $100, or any item that has been artificially inflated to four times it’s value in the last year, will be eligible for financing. Shoppers need to simply provide photo ID, their SIN number, and the willingness to destroy their credit score over bananas. Any missed payments will result in a lifetime ban from all Loblaws stores, and from anywhere else in Canada that sells food.
