Months Long Toronto Police Sting Recovers Thousands Of Stolen Hot Wheels

By Nikola Kramaric

Toronto - The TPS held a press conference Monday morning announcing the recovery of close to fourth thousand dollars worth of hot wheels and the arrest of 4 middle-aged toy car enthusiasts and one minor.

The 3-month sting involving over 200 officers working hundreds of hours of overtime busted the high-flying criminal enterprise in an unprecedented display of police efficiency.

The police chief praised the arresting officers but did acknowledge a minor miscommunication about an auto theft strategy focusing first on the smaller players. The men in question face up to 2 months in prison, but will most likely be given community service if found guilty.
