Loblaws Unveils “No Name” Buses As Part Of Buck-a-Ride Program
Toronto - In conjunction with the Ontario Liberal’s campaign promise to provide affordable public transit, the iconic No Name brand has announced they will be releasing a fleet of budget-friendly buses to better assist the people of Ontario.
The Loblaws subsidiary said their affordable transit vehicles are designed to keep the cost low for riders by refitting old buses that were involved in fatal collisions in their trademark yellow paint, saving the vehicles from being scrapped as is usual standard. The buses will also run exclusively on propane and bus drivers will not be required to be fully licensed, putting even more money into the pockets of riders.
The buses will begin by running as a pilot project along Dufferin Street. The affordable nature of the buses means the won’t operate on a specific schedule or route, but Loblaws stated at just a dollar a ride you’ve got some nerve to complain.
