Ontario Back In Deficit After Government Reportedly Spent $10 Million On Egg Sandwiches
Queen’s Park - The Ford government has released it’s fall economic statement and, after a surplus in last year’s budget, the province is back on track for a deficit after it’s been revealed the government has spent over $10 million on breakfast sandwiches this year alone.
The sandwich’s were mostly purchased from Tim Horton’s and seemingly originate from the office of one particular member of parliament who the statement did not name. The majority of the purchases were made through the UberEats delivery platform which seldom included a tip.
Premier Doug Ford has stated he will be personally looking into the matter of who had purchased all the delicious sandwiches made with real Canadian fresh cracked eggs.
