Ford To Reinstate Mask Mandate To Protect Ontarians From Bees
Queen’s Park - After recently swallowing a bee on live television, Ontario Premier Doug Ford has announced that the province will be reinstating mask mandates to protect residents from also swallowing bees.
“These bees are a big threat folks. Anyone could swallow one without any warning, and it’s definitely not embarrassing or weird if you do swallow one,” declared the Premier, “With this new mandate, the bees will never get stuck in our throats again.”
Stating that until something can be done to curb the current bee problem, masks will be required in all public settings including parks, BBQs, public announcements, and while rummaging through a beehive looking for honey.
Having consulted with the province’s Top Apiarist, Gary, Ford has said masks are an effective way to prevent bee swallowing, but would encourage residents to wear full beekeeping suits while in high risk settings.
