Storming Out During Fight Proves To Be Far Less Dramatic After Man Has To Stop And Put His Shoes Back On

Toronto - During a fight with his girlfriend Sunday afternoon, 31 year old Tyler Drake’s efforts to storm out of his City Place apartment for dramatic effect were cut short after he was forced to come back inside moments later to put his shoes on.
“I was really upset and needed to clear my head so I threw my hands up and groaned while I stormed out of the apartment,” says Tyler, “Unfortunately I live in Canada so I was standing out in my hallway without shoes on. I considered just owning it but I also wasn’t wearing socks so I had to hang my head and come back in to put my Top Siders on.”
The financial advisor said that had he not had to bend over like a little toddler and angrily fiddle around with his laces, his storming-out tactic probably would have won him the fight. His girlfriend agrees.
“When he first stormed out I thought ‘Wow what a dramatic way to prove I was actually wrong’,” Tyler’s girlfriend, 28 year old Tara Bough tells us, “But then he had to put his shoes on and there was this really awkward pause for like 20 seconds. It got weird immediately.”
After a brief walk around the neighbourhood followed by a longing stare across Lake Ontario, Tyler returned to the apartment, removed his shoes, and admitted to Tara that maybe they were both wrong.
The fight reportedly stemmed from Tyler considering cancelling the couple’s movie date that night as his best friend he went to Western with was in town for the night. The discussion quickly escalated into a heated debate over Tyler’s rampant cocaine usage.
