London - Today, Buckingham Palace celebrates the 99th birthday of Prince Philip. A remarkable milestone for the monarch, especially given the fact that he has been dead since 2017.

Queen Elizabeth II had Philip’s body removed from his cryogenic chamber and propped up on the palace lawn,Weekend at Bernie’s-style, so the pair could take a photo to commemorate the Prince’s special day.

The Duke of Edinburgh and the Queen have been self-isolating the last several months due to fears of COVID-19, although it is unclear if reanimated corpses are able to contract coronavirus.

All of us here at The Harold would like to wish the Prince a very special day!
