Ottawa Protestors Also Unsure What They’re Protesting

Ottawa - Organizers of January’s Freedom Convoy protests are back in Ottawa today to demand an end to the Covid-19 mandates that already ended several months ago.
Protestors are descending on Parliament Hill to demand Prime Minister Justin Trudeau end provincial mandates on masks and vaccine requirements, which were already lifted by the respective provincial governments earlier this year. Protestors also say they are unsure if the Biden administration is still not allowing unvaccinated truckers into the US, but if he’s not they want Trudeau to change that and then immediately resign.
“I drove here 33 hours from Red Deer, because Trudope says it’s illegal for me to board a flight in my own country without getting the jab,” one protestor screamed at us, unaware this policy ended two weeks ago.
Others within the protest group say they’re just here to proudly celebrate the country that is deeply ashamed of them.
“I’m here to celebrate Canada Day the most Canadian way I can think of; by screaming death threats at our democratically-elected leader while waving the rejected flag of another nation,” one member of the protest explained.
Organizers have said that following this protest, they plan to return to Ottawa in September to demand Canada pull their troops out of Bosnia and Herzegovina.
