Tourist Who Was Told Real Torontonians Don’t Pronounce The “T” Deeply Disappointed With Vacation To Orono

Orono - Jamar Michaels, a 33 year old New York City resident, says his vacation was ruined after he wound up in Orono, Ontario after being told that people in Toronto don’t pronounce the letter T. “I had always wanted to visit Canada, and when I told my friends I was planning a trip to ‘Toronto’ they quickly informed me that residents there don’t pronounce the T,” stated Michaels, “So when booking my accommodations, I made sure to omit the T’s from my search. And let me tell you, this is not what I was imagining.” Michaels says that his plans to see Toronto landmarks such as the CN Tower, Casa Loma and the historic Distillery District were replaced by a visit to a horse farm and seeing a Bengal tiger diagnosed with clinical depression at Jungle Cat World. Michaels issued a warning to fellow American tourists that when planning their trip to remember that the letter T does in fact still exist when speaking Canadian.
