Kyla Ford Changes “KyKy Kookies” Name To “White Delights”

Etobicoke - Following backlash on the name “KyKy’s Kookies”, which drew comparisons to KKK, Kyla Ford has announced she will be renaming her company to the less problematic “White Delights”.

“I was horrified to learn people were drawing that comparison to my company’s old name,” Ford tells us, “Which is why I’ve rebranded them as White Delights! The name comes from the cute white icing and their delightful taste!”

Ford also told us that once the store opens, her employees will dress up like ghosts because “these cookies are so good it’s scary!”

The Etobicoke storefront is expected to open later this year, and Ford said she would be hosting a celebratory opening day bonfire.
