Ottawa - After doing role call in the House of Commons this week and realize everyone had returned from their holidays, the Canadian government has now implements strict new laws for international travel.
“After combating this virus for over a year, I have decided that now is the time to finally start taking things seriously,” stated the Prime Minister, “As of ten months too late, we will be banning all flights to Mexico and the Caribbean, and all incoming travellers must quarantine in a hotel at their own expense for two weeks These new laws were be strictly enforced by… uh, someone…”
The sun-kissed and still kind of buzzed Members of Parliament stood up and applauded the Prime Minister‘s bravery by doing what everyone had been begging him to do since last March.
Trudeau said that quarantining could cost incoming travellers up to $2000, as he slid a couple CERB repayment cheques to key members of his cabinet.
