Thousands Of Canadians Gather In Ottawa Demanding Trudeau End The Current Heatwave

Ottawa - As record high temperatures sweep through southern Ontario, a group of disgruntled Canadians have made their way to Ottawa and are gathering outside Parliament Hill, calling on Prime Minister Trudeau to either make it less hot or resign from office.

“Whether he’s being responsible for global inflation, causing food shortages in the US, or making a bunch of disgruntled lunatics shut down our capital city for week, Trudeau has done nothing but make the lives of Canadians harder,” a woman in a Minions t-shirt tells us, “Now, after all that, he’s gone ahead and made it really hot this week. We can’t just stand for this dictatorship anymore!”

Others say they don’t want Trudeau to resign, or change the current temperature, they simply just want to talk.

“All we’re asking is for the Prime Minister of this country to come outside and wave a very large fan on us to help us stay cool,” shouted one disgruntled protestor, “What’s the matter Justin? Too scared to come out and fan off your fellow Canadians?”

Those gathered say that it is every Canadian’s right to feel hot if they chose to, but the government has no right to force anyone to be hot.

Protests are expected to last until at least mid-September, a date when those gathered believe all their hard work will have paid off and Trudeau will listen to them by finally making it less hot.
