I Decorated My Apartment For Christmas With Just $12 At Dollarama Because I’m Very, Very Poor

Lifestyle - Move over Laura Stein, there’s a new girl boss in town and she has no money living paycheck to paycheck! Here’s how I justified an unaffordable housing market and unreflective inflation by normalizing decorating my home with cheap, disposable plastic garbage!

Last week I thought to myself, just because I don’t have a savings account doesn’t mean I don’t deserve a festive Christmas! So I headed down to Dollarama to stock up on some Chinese-made shit to decorate my studio apartment that’s smaller than the master bedroom in the house my parents had owned for 4 years by the time they were my age.

A plastic wreath, a tiny plastic tree that goes on my Structube coffee table I bought used, and a sweater for my cat who I’ve convinced myself is happy and content living in 150 square feet. Is this Christmas or what! And only $12? Talk about a bargain!

Hopefully by next year Dollarama will sell wine so I can afford to drink away my misery hahahahahhaha
