Citing Property Tax Hike, 40% Of Torontonians Plan On Moving Into Their Stanley Quenchers in 2024

By Andrew Scott

Toronto - Following last week’s news of a proposed 10.5% property tax increase for homes in the GTA, a city-wide poll indicates that up to 40% of Toronto residents and homeowners are considering relocating into their Stanley Quenchers in 2024.

“The timing couldn’t have been more perfect,” says Brianna Sanderson, age 32, as she has recently upgraded her 40 OZ FlowState Tumbler to the more spacious 64 OZ version. “It’s both big and insulated, which is really more than I can say about my semi-detached on Dufferin. Plus, it is super cute and trendy. I’m really stoked to make the move this year!”

At present, it is unclear, given the exorbitant prices of Stanley products in the competitive resale market, whether the provincial government will designate this latest housing trend as “affordable.”
