World Pylon Exhibition Takes Over Downtown Toronto This Weekend

Toronto - There is bumper to bumper traffic as people from across the GTA and abroad flock to view the World Pylon Exhibition in downtown Toronto.
Self proclaimed "cone-head" Mark is visiting from Detroit, Michigan. He loves the exhibition and goes every year. He is especially excited this year as the sheer quantity of traffic cone installations has never been matched. “When I see orange I get excited! I’ve never seen so many cones before, it's remarkable! There is an exhibit on every corner,” says Mark.
Traffic cone vendors from around the globe are setting up pylons everywhere from the "single cone pot-hole pincher" to the "6 block snaggler". Terry from Pile-On Pylons loves the exposure and is hoping the city picks him for their next project. “Our pylons stay upright longer and can last upwards of 20 years. No need for the council to wait until they have a project plan or timeline, just set it and forget it with Pile-On Pylons,” says Terry.
It's no accident that Toronto is this year’s host city. In the last 10 years, the city's pylon reserves have grown exponentially, now holding the world record for most pylons per capita.
A small but vocal minority of "cone-groaners" hate the exhibition. They say it adds to traffic congestion and hurts local businesses. Despite this, city officials are claiming this year's exhibition a success and are extending it indefinitely.
