Confused Bob Dylan Fans Gather In Ottawa For ‘Rolling Thunder’ Reunion Concert

By Andrew Scott

Ottawa - When news broke last week about the proposed “Rolling Thunder” motorcycle convoy headed to Ottawa this weekend, confused octogenarian Bob Dylan fans wasted no time getting to the nation’s capital in hopes of catching a reunion performance of the singer/songwriter’s famed 1975-1976 concert tour.

Acknowledging that they rarely understand either his lyrics or career trajectory, Dylan fans reportedly felt confident that an unannounced and impromptu Ottawa reunion performance was totally in keeping with Dylan’s “song-and-dance man” persona.

Aware of the confusion, Ottawa police assured the RCMP Friday that the decision of Dylan fans everywhere to uniformly drive a 1978 Volvo 245 DL station wagon in Birkenstock brown should make them easy enough to identify and separate from any potential fracas related to the convoy.
