Justin Trudeau Promises To Work Ineffectively With Whoever Wins Today’s Election

By Andrew Scott

Parliament Hill - As both countries wait with bated breath for the outcome of today’s U.S. election, Canadian Prime Minister Justin Trudeau wants to reassure Canadians that no matter what the outcome, he will work just as ineffectively with whoever is the next American President as he has over the last little while with his rival politicians, coalition members, and fellow Liberals here in Canada.

Citing his unpopular decision to dig in his heels, stay long beyond his best-before date, and stymie any opportunity for much called upon change within the Grits, Liberal Party insider Felicity Sidell feels confident that Trudeau will continue to be just as obstinate, no matter who is declared the victor today.

When Liberal caucus members were asked whether Trudeau would make good on his promise of continued ineffectiveness, knowing glances were reported to be abundant.
