Local Parody Website Tired Of Being Confused For “Harold The Jewelry Buyer”

Little Italy - Toronto-based parody website The Toronto Harold is fed up with people on the internet confusing them for local jewelry buyer Harold “Harold the Jewlery Buyer” Gerstel.

The confusion seems to stem from the site creators having not taken 15 seconds to Google “toronto harold” before settling on the name.

Although the site says they are grateful for the recent success they have been receiving, they also tell us that at least twice a day they will get messages asking if they are interested in purchasing their grandmother’s broach they inherited.

“We do not offer mortgages in as little as five days, we do not buy any karat of gold, and we are not located on Bathurst Street two light south of Lawrence,” said founder and editor of the site Scott Slute, “And as far as I’m aware no one in this office was pistol whipped in 2012.”

The Toronto Harold also says they currently have no connections to any mobs, but are certainly open to the possibility.
