Brown M&M Will Replace Regular “M” With “BLM”

Culture - After updating five of their anthropomorphized mascots last week, including making the green M&M 67% less sexy, M&M’s has announced a new update to the lineup to reflect an even more modern take on the characters.

Instead of the usual “M” painted across the characters’ chests, the brown character will have that replaced with “BLM” to show she is a proud supporter of the movement. The company also added that she is an extremely outspoken online activist who has over 22,000 Twitter followers.

“We’re proud to present a diverse group of characters that better reflect the times we live in,” the Mars company said in a statement, “Our company is proud to stand behind important movements like this 8 years after their founded when we know for sure most people are onboard.”

M&M’s has also revealed that the orange M&M suffers from crippling anxiety and the blue mascot is unvaccinated.
