Ontario To Replace COVID Testing With “The Honour System”
Queen’s Park - As the province continues to struggle trying to keep up with tests, Ontario’s Top Doctor Kieran Moore has announced that in lieu of doing COVID tests, they will be switching over to a system of asking citizens to just let them know if they have Omicron.
“Despite having almost two years to prepare, we are currently unable to keep up with testing demands,” said Dr Moore, “Which is why we are asking any Ontarian with a runny nose to let your public health unit know, and they will get back to them in the next 3-6 months.”
Dr Moore is expected to address the province and further layout the plan later today via Zoom from Doug Ford’s Muskoka cottage.
