New Ontario Place Site Will Be Able To Sell Beer, Wine, and RTD Beverages

Queen’s Park - The Ford government has just announced more new plans for Ontario Place, and this round includes approval for the site to sell alcoholic beverages to-go similar to new rules around grocery and convenience stores.

“Folks, this is great news for the province,” stated Premier Ford, “Starting tomorrow, not only will Ontarians have more access to alcohol at their favourite stores, they will also be able to purchase those some beverages at our beloved Ontario Place.”

It is still unclear where the purchases will be happening at Ontario Place, but Ford says his government has invested $30 million into the project to ensure proper infrastructure is set up for this new announcement.

Ontario residents responded with a resounding lack of interest in this latest change to liquor laws.
