University Reveals BlogTO A Forgotten AI Writing Project

By Will Penman

University of Toronto - Fans of neighbourhood maps and local business reviews were shocked today when the University of Toronto announced that popular website BlogTO was actually a forgotten Artificial Intelligence project.

The school announced that the website, built by an unnamed computer sciences student in 2004, was a very early look into artificial intelligence and its uses in compiling data and generating content for distribution. Abandoned shortly after launch, the site was left on a server, generating articles and content, and growing into the resource it is today.

“Budget cuts have forced us to make space on old servers, otherwise we may never have found it” stated one faculty member.

When asked for comment, BlogTO sent back an article on the top Toronto businesses working with AI.
