Trudeau Announces Fifth Booster Will Include A Free Baked Good

Ottawa - Following an announcement that Canada had secured enough vaccines to guarantee all residents a fourth booster shot, Prime Minister Justin Trudeau revealed another exciting announcement in Canada’s vaccine initiative.
“My friends, I am pleased to announce that not only have we secured enough vaccines to guarantee a fourth booster shot, but upon receiving your fifth shot we will be offering you one complimentary baked good of your choosing,” announced Trudeau, “Canadians will get to choose from a muffin, cookie, croissant, or can receive an éclair at a reduced cost of just $1.25.”
The free pastry is part of Canada’s new Vaccine Loyalty program set to roll out at the end of the month. Recipients will get to stamp their card after getting each booster shot and can redeem them for prizes.
Trudeau revealed that a free snack was just the tip of the iceberg for these prizes.
“Upon receiving your eighth booster, your name will be entered into a draw, and one lucky Canadian will receive a brand new PlayStation 5,” Trudeau excitedly announced.
And with the WHO’s announcement that repeated boosters were not a viable solution to ending the pandemic, Trudeau happily announced Canada should be able to easily secure enough boosters for years to come.
