City Prepares To Vote On Favourite Type Of Grass
Toronto - After selecting the oak tree as Toronto’s official tree, Mayor John Tory and city councillors will be meeting to vote on the city’s best type of grass.
Having narrowed it down to Kentucky bluegrass, scutch grass and Bermuda grass, councillors will vote on which type of grass is their favourite this Monday.
The winning grass will be planted in all city parks, costing the city approximately $7 million.
