Province's Customer Service, Hospitality Workers Just Thrilled To Welcome Back Anti Maskers
By Gabriel Venneri
Yorkdale - As mask mandates lift on Monday, hospitality and customer service sectors are looking forward to once again opening their doors to everyone, especially those who refused to wear a tiny piece of cloth over their mouths and noses for the safety of themselves and others. Restaurant and retail workers alike say they’re absolutely delighted to go back to putting up with customers who are condescending and make aggravating requests.
“We’re very excited to see things finally returning to normal,” said restaurant manager Maria Chavez, “The place just wasn’t the same without their self centered sense of entitlement and lack of awareness for the people around them.”
The sentiment was echoed by seventeen year old retail worker Sammi Boit. “It feels like it’s been forever since someone personally threatened or screamed at me because we didn’t have their size of t shirt. I really miss that.”
“I can’t wait to exercise my God given right to demand barbecue sauce at a sushi restaurant!” spit-shouted anti masker Don Waller.
Anti maskers have promised big things for their return to public spaces, including being even more of a pain in the ass to make up for the last two years.
