With COVID Restrictions Ending, Toronto CEOs Are Once Again Standing At The Middle Urinal

By Andrew Scott

Bay Street - A recent Ipsos-Reid poll published Tuesday finds that what Toronto CEOs missed most during the pandemic and ensuing lockdown was the opportunity to saddle up next to unsuspecting junior employees at the middle urinal and make awkward, and often inappropriately personal small talk.

According to Gavin McFarlane, CEO at Ludner, Price & Stewart LLP, “Listening to senior partners loudly clear their throats while droning on about their deteriorating golf game and how crowded Lake “Joe” has been as of late, is an important rite of passage for any budding captain of industry hoping to climb this city’s corporate ladder.”

No word yet whether the firm yet lingering handshake will make a return to provincial boardrooms anytime soon.
