Staples Removes “Easy Button” One Week Into Service Ontario Merger

By Andrew Scott

Toronto - As the Staples/Service Ontario partnership enters its second week, executives at the Staples Canada head office have reportedly made the decision to cancel their “Easy Button” campaign.

“Although the ‘Easy Button’ has been a part of Staples life since 2005,” stated Dean Sanderson, communications liaison for the Staples corporation, “Things have become a lot more tedious and mired by the unnecessary complexities of bureaucratic red tape since partnering with the Ontario government.”

With the longstanding and beloved advertising campaign now scraped, Stapes is rumoured to be launching a “Ponderous” and “Inept” buttons as the partnership continues.
