Kabul - Armed with weapons provided by the United States military in the 1980’s, Taliban fighters have now succeed in conquering the capital city after the surrender of the US-trained Afghan army.

“Their training by the United States military is far superior to the training the United States military provided us,” a member of the Afghan National Army tells us.

In response, the US military announced their plan to train even more militant groups to overthrow the new Taliban government, citing the successful track record this move has had.
